The Dark Spirit Invocation Goes Thus:

Before calling forth any dark spirit to a circle, it is essential to be aware of its characteristics, planetary alignment, and the distinct functions allocated to it from the planet.

With this knowledge, determine a fitting and proper site for his evocation, consistent with the planet's characteristics and the spirit's functions. As an illustration, if his dominion extends over the seas, rivers, or floods, choose a location by the shore.

Similarly, select a suitable time, considering both the atmospheric conditions, which should be calm, transparent, still, and conducive for spirits to take on physical forms, and the characteristics and nature of the planet, whether day or night.

In light of these considerations, it is prudent to establish a magic circle at the designated site, functioning as both a defensive measure for the practitioner and a confirmation of the spirit's manifestation. The circle should include the general divine names and symbols of defense, the divine names governing the planet associated with the spirit's role, and the names of good spirits that can bind the target entity. Additional security can be attained by incorporating characters and pentacles that correspond to the ritual's objectives. The spirit's seal can be placed either within or outside the circle to enhance its effectiveness.

Additionally, the operator shall have access to lights, perfumes, unguents, and medicines specifically formulated in accordance with the nature of the planet and spirit, which are in harmony with the spirit. The operator may also utilize holy and consecrated objects, such as papers, laments, pictures, pentacles, swords, scepters, and garments, for the defense of the master and his associates. 

With all necessary items in place, the master and associates, positioned within the magic circle and surrounded by the requisite objects, shall invoke the conjuration with a loud voice and a composed countenance.

After the initial summons, a short interval should be observed, during which the practitioner attentively surveys his environment for manifestations of a spirit. If the spirit does not appear, the conjuration is to be repeated up to three times. In the event of continued non-appearance, the practitioner is to proceed with conjuring the spirit through divine power, with all invocations and commemorations harmonized with the spirit's essence and roles. The ritual is to be reiterated three times, with increasing intensity, incorporating reprimands, scornful language, curses, and punitive measures.

Once all courses are completed, pause briefly, and if any spirit materializes, the master is to turn towards him, accord him a courteous reception, and with genuine importunity, solicit his name. Thereafter, he may pose any further questions he deems necessary.

If the spirit manifests itself as obstinate or deceitful in any manner, it is fitting to restrain it by means of suitable adjurations. Should any doubt persist concerning a falsehood, create the figure of a triangle or pentacle outside the circle with the consecrated sword and compel the spirit to enter into it. For the confirmation of any promise by oath, extend the sword out of the circle and administer the oath to the spirit by having it lay its hand on the sword.

Having procured that which is desired of the Spirit, or being otherwise content, dismiss him with courteous words, commanding him to inflict no harm. Should he decline to depart, compel him through powerful adjurations, and if required, banish him by means of exorcism and opposing fumigations.

Following his exit, stay within the designated circle and offer prayers for your defense and safety. After meticulously completing all these steps, departure is permissible. In the event that your anticipated outcomes are not realized and no spirit appears, refrain from despondency; instead, depart from the circle and return at a future time, replicating the previous actions. If an error in procedure is suspected, rectification through adjustment is warranted, as persistence often amplifies one's authority and efficacy, thereby intimidating the spirits and compelling their compliance.
